Wedding fever has hit high today with Megan & Prince Harry’s royal wedding. It’s hard not to be moved by two people in love, committing to each other and sharing their joy with friends and family.

Emily & Harry’s wedding last week at Sharpham House was especially touching as you could really feel the love in the air. They are clearly very happy together and there were good vibes all around… It was really moving when both their Dad’s got up to sing together, hilarious at moments too! A lot of their friends & family stayed at Sharpham House for the weekend so there was a very relaxed and homely feeling to the wedding. This is a really special venue with so much colour & character, the spiral staircase being a real standout feature. The happy couple chose to have their ceremony on the staircase, which allowed for some really unique vantage points. This became the central gathering point for the speeches too and the couple made use of several rooms in the house for their wedding breakfast. I loved their table numbers which accompanied by old photographs and the text ‘when we were 1,2,3,4…’ etc

Luckily they were blessed with some beautiful weather as it turns out Emily & Harry are quite an adventurous couple! During the reception we trekked all the way down to the river and poor Emily was wearing heels… she was barefoot all the way back though! I mustn’t forget to mention the bluebells… I LOVE bluebells and there were splashes of them around the gardens and in the table flowers, adding beautifully to the soft spring colours of the day. Emily herself had a wildflower bouquet which went perfectly complimented her elegant fishtail wedding dress.

I’m sure these guys have many years of happiness ahead of them. It was lovely to bathe in their happiness for a while whilst capturing a few of these special moments for them! Congratulations again Mr & Mrs Lowe 🙂
