I feel very privileged to be part of a Dartmoor Trust Legacy exhibition ‘Dartmoor Light & Shadow’ which opens today at Neadon Barn in Manaton 💚
Last night I attended the private view and it was inspiring to see the different perspectives and interpretations of the moor by 25 local photographers. It’s especially interesting to see these contemporary images alongside historical photographs from the @dartmoortrustarchive. I’m so pleased to have included my series on the @thehillyfield with a bit about their journey and the great work that they are doing there.
Thanks to @laurenwiig for curating such a fantastic show. Today I have been enjoying reading through the accompanying book by Simon Butler. This has much more on the history of Dartmoor and the local photographers featured. Get down to Neadon Barn this week to grab a copy and check out the exhibition ⚡️

I’ve been a wedding photographer in Devon now for nearly 10 years! It’s always fab to find a stunning new venue ❤️ In July I joined Luca & Michael @bradstone_weddings in Tavistock, Devon. This is a delightful rambling & rustic venue, with a 15c gatehouse and an 11c church. Straight out of a Thomas Hardy novel 🌸 The vibe of this wedding totally suited the country charm of the venue. Delicate flowers by @wildmoorflowers decorated the farmhouse tables and the party was started with a traditional Ceildh band @ceilidhtree 🕺 It was such a beautiful day and I enjoyed every second! Thanks to Luca & Michael for leaving this lovely review ✨“Emma is an absolutely amazing photographer, we couldn’t be happier with the photos from our wedding day! She was excellent throughout, from the initial conversations when booking, to checking in during the leadup to the day and the day itself. I really love the mix of photos and the natural feel to them all, she really captured the joy of the day.
