Engagement Adventures | Devon Wedding Photographer
At last a moment to blog… it’s been the busiest winter / spring ever and a real season of adventure! I’ve shot so many engagement sessions this year and they have taken me all over the place… from a snow covered Stonehenge to Hampstead Heath and all over Devon. Many beautiful Devon beaches are featured – Mothecombe, Branscombe, Beesands & Hope Cove. Also, a beautiful Bluebell Wood and most recently, the wild & rugged landscape around Brentor on Dartmoor. I’m so excited to share some of the images with you.
I’ve absolutely loved getting out & about with my couples and doing something a bit more adventurous. Lila has been with me on a few of these shoots, so thanks to everyone for being so patient with a crazy toddler around! It’s great looking back on these pics and seeing the change of seasons. Dartington Gardens was as beautiful in autumn as the bluebell wood I visited recently and it was amazing to be at Stonehenge when it was snowing. Janey & Adam got some really quite rare & unique images of this iconic site. I’ve always wanted to photograph a handfasting here so if you are planning one do get in touch. I think I’ve also got a real taste for doing elopements now too… I’d love to shoot some really wild weddings on beaches, mountains and in stonecircles. It’s been fab exploring some of these landscapes with my willing couples.
I’m so looking forward to capturing more fab images with my amazing couples this year… the 2018 wedding season is about to kick in and I’m so excited! Next up is Emily & Harry whose engagement shoot on Brentor I shot just last week. They are getting wed on Saturday at Sharpham House. We had so much fun exploring this rugged tor last weekend and it was lovely to see such a spectacular sunset. Fingers crossed this weekend will be just as picturesque…
