Rebecca & Tim | Sharpham Gardens Wedding Photography
Sharpham Gardens Wedding Photography at Sharpham House, near Totnes in Devon.
Rebecca & Tim wanted to totally break convention for their wedding day. They opted for a civil partnership, not a traditional marriage, and had a humanist ceremony outdoors. I LOVE outdoor weddings so I was very excited about this one. I have photographed a few weddings at Sharpham House but never a garden ceremony so it was great to capture something a bit different.
Luckily it was a glorious, sunny day so almost their entire celebration was held in Sharpham Gardens. The dress code was ‘colourful’ hence the kaleidoscope of colours that you will see stretched across the lawns in these images. Rebecca looked super stylish in her wedding jumpsuit, an elegant & unique alternative to a wedding dress. For their wedding breakfast, they brought the outdoors indoors, with tables named after various native tree species. A lovely idea and some inspiration here for nature lovers.
The vibe of this day was so relaxed & fun. Aside from the speeches & ceremony there were no formalities throughout the day. A ceilidh band played in the evening but there was no first dance, just lots & lots of fun!! It was great to get to know this lovely couple and share their magical day.
