The countdown to Christmas has begun! 🎄 One of my images was included in a Cadbury’s campaign last month. This was centred around their beloved advent calendars, asking people what they were counting down to in the holiday season; “Whether it’s the warmth of a family Christmas, a lively “friendsmas”, or the magic of a children’s nativity play…”
The campaign looked at the various ways people celebrate the festive season, building up the anticipation of opening the first door on December 1st! ✨

Are you planning to get married at River Cottage and wondering when the best time is to do it? Check out my latest blog featuring tips (and photos) throughout the seasons. I’ve photographed weddings at River Cottage since 2017 and have been there at different times of the year, as the first buds appear to the fires of autumn.The good news is that River Cottage is an incredible venue all year round. I photographed weddings at River Cottage on glorious summer days, cold winter days and even one day of torrential rain! Every single one of these weddings was magic and unique. The garden is always evolving, with stars for every season and varying colours throughout the year. Outdoor weddings are gorgeous but, on cold days be assured that a warm fireplace is never far away. I always enjoy the reception in the yurt, which feels extra cosy and special in winter. Don’t forget to look out for Marmaduke the cat! He’s big & ginger and the perfect accessory for an autumn wedding 🐱I love photographing River Cottage as it is very much aligned to my values. Before becoming a wedding photographer I worked in the photo-department at Greenpeace International. Nowadays I work on environmental photo-stories, and I also freelance for various eco and ethical companies. Just recently I started freelancing for Riverford, capturing stories from their organic farms for their new magazine Veg & Table. For the past two years I have been shortlisted for the Pink Lady Food Photographer for the Year Award.

Autumn weddings 🧡🧡🧡 I absolutely love this time of year - the light, the colours, it’s just so gorgeous! I’m always excited to get bookings for autumn weddings and elopements. Last year I had a couple and the weather was crazy - rainy but incredibly romantic! ✨
This one is from last year, Laura & Kev’s Samhain handfasting in Glastonbury. It was just the two of them, along with their celebrant @wildflower_ceremonies and lots of gorgeous details calling on the elements of earth, air, fire & water. The weather was pretty stormy so we had to wait on doing the ceremony for a while! This was led by Ellie who made the blessing so special. After exchanging vows and jumping over a broom, we headed up wearyall hill for some photos amongst the autumn leaves and sheep grazing the hillside 🐑
It’s always lovely to share such intimate moments, especially under stormy autumn skies 🍂

Every autumn Lila & I head to @schoolfarmcsa for their annual Harvest Party 🧡 This is such a brilliant gathering for kids as they can roam free, explore the land and polytunnels, create flower crowns and hunt autumn treasures! 🍂 This year was an especially glorious autumn day, perfect for a day outside on the land, followed by some yummy food grown at the farm, dancing & music 🎶 A few pics from the day, including the most awesome kale flower crown! 🥬

On Sunday morning I met authors Sophie Pierce & Alex Murdin for a sunrise photoshoot on Dartmoor. We met at 630am and caught the sun breaking through the horizon.
