And yes Stoner is my real name! But don’t worry I’m not the smoking kind!!
I’m pretty chilled out though so you don’t need to worry if you hate having your picture taken. You will forget I am there after a while and you can relax and enjoy your big day. But are you in safe hands?! YES! I’ve been working in photography since I graduated in 2005 and I have over 7 years wedding photography experience. In fact, I recently won a ‘Highly Commended’ award from South West Wedding Awards for the Bespoke Wedding Photography 2019 category and last year I got listed as one of the 50 Best Alternative Wedding Suppliers in the UK!
I’m not a ‘stoner’ but I am a real hippy – my credentials? They include working for Greenpeace, travelling around various parts of Asia with a backpack, hugging trees, reading beatnik poetry, eating lots of lentils and listening to too much music from the 1960’s.
I love nature in all it’s forms and have a huge respect for this crazy planet we live on. My work is nature-inspired and my wedding photography services have a green ethos, with eco-friendly albums & frames available to my couples.
It would be great to hear more about you and the incredible adventure that you are about to embark on… please get in touch and I look forward to chatting soon!
When I was a child I would pour through my Dad’s old copies of National Geographic and dream that one day I would be a photographer and travel the world. My work has taken me on lots of global adventures and I still take inspiration from those pages (yes – I still have those magazines!) and from the great photojournalists of our time. You can’t beat a good story and a wedding is such a beautiful story to tell. My documentary style captures all the little details of your day, the emotion, the setting and those decisive moments.

Here I am with my little girl Lila, pictured at one of my favourite beaches in Devon, Bantham. We were photographed by the lovely Emma at Freckle Photography
If we are not exploring the great outdoors – beaches, farms, wild swimming spots and stone circles, then you will find me editing your wedding photos with a cup of tea and Radio 4.
