Hi there

I’m Emma

And yes Stoner is my real name! But don’t worry I’m not the smoking kind! I am pretty chilled out though so you don’t need to worry if you hate having your picture taken. You will forget I am there after a while and you can relax and enjoy your big day.

So you want to know more about me? My wedding photography style is natural & unobtrusive. That means that I let things flow naturally with as little disruption as possible. A passion for the environment has always been at the heart of my business.

I put my heart & soul into every wedding that I photograph

“Where other wedding photographers might not understand that you’re doing your day just a tad differently, Emma Stoner celebrates your uniqueness and captures it perfectly in her gorgeous photography. What really stands out is her ability to tell the story of your special day, and actually what you’re left with at the end of your celebration is almost a still-image-movie of your wedding.”

More about me

When I was a child we would spend our summer holidays in France, camping and swimming. It was there that I developed my love for nature and adventure.

I also learned to use my Dad’s 35mm camera and my passion for photography was born. This was closely paired with my love for stories. I could always be found with my head in a book or checking out the photo essays in National Geographic. Nowadays I have a house full of books, cameras and Nat Geo magazines!

In 2015 I relocated from London to Devon, where I live with my 7yr old daughter Lila and our cat Wizard. We live in Totnes, a progressive ‘eco’ town surrounded by beautiful beaches and rolling hills. I am a nature lover, as I imagine that you are. My friends would probably describe me as a bit of a hippy and I won’t deny my tree-hugging tendencies! I take inspiration from the world around me and from the great photojournalists of our time. My favourite has to be W. Eugene Smith, a master of light and photographic storytelling.

A wedding is such a beautiful story to tell and I would love to tell yours. I put my heart & soul into every wedding that I photograph, documenting all the tiny details, the raw emotion and those incredible moments which pass too quickly. My images will capture the atmosphere of your day and bring it all back to you.

It would be great to hear more about you both and the incredible adventure that you are about to embark on… please get in touch and I look forward to chatting soon!
