As a Totnes wedding photographer it’s always fab to shoot a wedding at The Kingston Estate, one of my local venues. When Ellie & Cam got in touch they asked if I shoot *normal* weddings too! Yes, I do shoot more traditional weddings, alongside all the farm and festival weddings. I especially enjoyed shooting this one as Ellie & Cam are such a lovely couple.

We first met for their engagement shoot at Mothecombe beach and hit it off immediately. Ellie is a midwife and Cam is a doctor so a real couple of NHS heroes 🙂 They actually met at work during a birth too! Mothecombe is where they got engaged (good choice guys) and it’s near to where Ellie grew up. We had such a laugh on their engagement shoot so I knew their wedding would be lots of fun.

When I arrived on the day the girls were busy getting ready whilst the boys enjoyed a hot tub. I was struck by all the gorgeous jade green details which looked so stunning with the rustic decor of Kingston Estate. Everything looked very elegant, including Ellie in her Sottero & Midgley gown. The boys scrubbed up pretty well too – I love their little green dicky-bows!

My favourite part of this wedding day was hanging out with this lovely couple as we wandered the gardens taking pictures. It was a very relaxed day and I thoroughly enjoyed their company. Everyone was so friendly too and I really felt at home. When I left the party was in full swing and everyone was having a fantastic time! Cam hired a silhouettist for the evening too so that kept everyone entertained as he got to work sketching the wedding guests.
