Trish & Tony | The Barn at South Milton Wedding Photography

Trish and Tony held their August Bank Holiday wedding at The Barn at South Milton, a gorgeous venue on the South Devon Coast. They decorated the barn in exquisite detail, with styling denoting real rustic charm and shabby chic. Flowers were held in jars & milk churns and there was lots of lovely wood and tea-lights adding to the ambience. Some real love went into this wedding!

From the moment I met Trish & Tony I knew we’d get on. They are such a warm couple, with heaps of smiles & sunshine. This warmth permeated their wedding day, which was full of joy. Friends came from all over the country (the couple are based in Liverpool) and even as far as South Africa to wish them well. One group, the ‘Lourdes’ group have pilgrimaged with the couple to the well known religious site in France. Trish & Tony also brought their vicar down to Devon for the day as the ceremony was very important to them. They were wed at ‘Our Lady Star of the Sea’ Catholic Church in Salcombe (don’t you just love the name?!). It was a beautiful church, full of light and contemporary stained glass designs.

After the service everyone headed back to the barn for nibbles. We went on a trip to the neighbouring South Milton Beach. It was a beautiful day and great to capture some images here with the stunning Devon backdrop. We later had some fun capturing pics with a neighbouring tractor in the fields around The Barn.

It was a real pleasure working with this lovely couple! The day was so much fun and Trish & Tony even made room for a game of bingo in their order of the day!! When I left the dancefloor was heaving, everyone letting their hair down for a proper boogie.
