There is so much rustic charm in this beautiful Dartington Hall wedding. Susie & Keith love Devon and they are real nature enthusiasts… Susie used to work at The Garden House in Buckland, where she forged her passion for nature and plants! For their wedding day they chose a nature theme with little vintage twists and Dartington Hall has everything they could wish for. The main building is surrounded by gorgeous landscaped gardens and the medieval, gothic-like interior really lends itself to a vintage-styled theme. I am local myself and very much enjoyed a Victorian Christmas Fair at Dartington Hall last Christmas so I was really excited about this wedding!

The dining room here has so much atmosphere and the couple dressed it with lots of lovely little touches…including an incredible three piece cake by Queen Bee Cakes ‘, LUSH thankyou’s and the All You Need Is Love’ personalised vinyl thank you presents! The flowers made a stunning contrast against the dark brown wooden interior and Susie even had colourful flower detail on the soles of her wedding shoes. Her dress was an exquisite design by Kelsey Rose with a lovely blush finish.

The couple were super lucky with the weather and were able to have their wedding ceremony in the gardens outside. The sun shone all day so guests enjoyed the grounds with some outdoor games, drinks and canapés before the main meal. After food, everyone moved back outside for tea and more late summer sunshine… It was lovely to take a walk with Susie & Keith at this point and enjoy some of the beauty of these fantastic gardens. As it got dark the sparklers came out and everyone cheered for the couple again. Many congratulations to you both, a really beautiful and elegant wedding day.
