Beth & Ed | Neadon Barn Wedding Photography
If you like a rustic wedding then you will love this little gem. Beth & Ed were wed in May 2019 at Neadon Barn on beautiful Dartmoor. This is a new wedding venue which is totally gorgeous, full of character & country charm. Beth is an adventurous Australian so it was the perfect setting as it combines a quintessentially English feel (to impress the relatives) with some nearby rugged landscape. After the ceremony the newlyweds hiked up Haytor for some wedding portraits… a pretty impressive feat in a heavy wedding dress! We were lucky to find a few wild ponies on the moors too which made for some beautiful shots.
The itself day was very relaxed and blessed with spring sunshine… I’ve really enjoyed going through these images this afternoon and reliving the good weather!! Ed’s father is a vicar so the couple were wed in his local church. All the guests were then invited for tea & scones in the pews, which was a lovely idea! After our adventure on Haytor we headed back to Neadon where everyone was relaxing with a scrumptious spread of food in the garden. After some outdoor games & mingling, everyone gathered together for some outdoor speeches before heading into the barn. Check out the stunning decor here… the candlelit tables & wild foliage… not to mention the cake! It’s a stunning space and the sofas spilled out into the exteriors where people wandered between courses. The bonfire outside was popular as the sun went down, and guests made the most of blankets to keep warm.
Congratulations again to Beth & Ed… this was such a fun day & start to the 2019 wedding season! You can find out more about the stunning wedding venue here
