Salcombe Wedding Photographer.

Hello there! Are you planning to get married in Salcombe? Then read on for some inspiration for your seaside wedding day. If you are looking for wedding locations and venues in South Devon and haven’t heard of Salcombe then you are going to love it! It’s a gorgeous coastal town with a lot of history & character. Salcombe is a hub for sailing and the little boats bobbing around on the sea make for a picturesque backdrop to any wedding. I’m based in Totnes, South Devon so not far from this lovely town.

Rachel & Callum live in London and holiday in Salcombe a lot so this was the perfect place for them to get married. They chose Cliff House as their wedding venue. I’ve photographed a lot of weddings here and it’s a lovely venue, overlooking the sea and in prime position for those picture perfect views. The best way to get around in Salcombe is by boat and this is how Callum travelled in to the venue on his wedding day! I always recommend to my couples to catch a ferry over to East Portlemouth beach for couple photos. It’s a short journey with gorgeous views back over towards Cliff House and the trip makes for some fun photos too 🙂 This couple enjoyed having a few moments to themselves on this beautiful little beach.

It was wonderful to be part of Rachel & Callum’s wedding day and to be able to capture these memories for them to look back on. One of the perks of being a wedding photographer based in Devon is visiting gorgeous little towns such as Salcombe.
