If you are getting in the mood for spring then you will love Nairi & Liam’s spring wedding at The Oak Barn near Exeter in Devon. Their wedding was held in late April. This was peak spring bloom, with tulips and forget-me-knots adorning the flowerbeds. Skeletal trees lined the garden, the remnants of winter just passed. The trees made an interesting contrast to the colour and life emerging.
Nairi & Liam had booked an engagement shoot with me the previous autumn so I had got to know them a little bit beforehand. We got on like a house on fire! I knew we would after my many long chats with Nairi beforehand. They are both such adventurous souls and we share a love of Harry Potter! I was really excited about photographing their wedding in Devon. It turned out to be the most beautiful day. Nairi had put so much love into the many touches and details in the wedding room. These reflected their love of adventure and outdoor life. The tables were named after their favourite places – Bolberry Down and Bellever Forest to name a few. Nairi has not let being in a wheelchair stop her exploring new places. One of the highlights of the day for me was venturing out to the field with Nairi & Liam for a few photos. It was a perfect cloudy Devon day and this pair and just magic together! I was so touched when they put me on their table for food too. Thanks again for having me along guys, it’s been fab getting to know you both 🙂
