Anran Wedding Photography

I’m super excited to share Katie & Matt’s stunning Anran wedding with you! Anran is a fairly new venue here in Devon and it mixes rustic country vibes with a dash of Eastern Elegance. They have several barns and a huge glasshouse with it’s very own Buddha.

It was a glorious day, at the start of the heatwave. The couple took advantage of the hot weather and went for an outdoor ceremony. It was very relaxed with Beatles songs to get everyone in the mood “All You Need is Love, Love… Love is all you need!” Afterwards they were sprinkled with a colourful shower of confetti as they headed to the courtyard for some celebratory drinks.

I love the details in this wedding – the flowers in jars and huge milk churns, rustic cheese-cake and the ‘hills’ theme for the table plan. A perfect idea for this countryside venue. Katie & Matt were up for doing lots of little shoots around the venue so we found some cool little nooks & crannies for photos, including a barn full of paper flowers! At the end of the day we were treated to a stunning pink sunset / full moon rise which made for some lovely shots. I particularly liked the barn where the evening party was held – the corrugated iron was a fab backdrop to all the dancing and shenanigans!

This was a really magical wedding day and Katie & Matt were awesome company 🙂 I also had second shooter Abi along for the ride. We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with such great company and the incredible venue. Devon at it’s finest!
