Dartmouth Wedding Photographer | Sarah & George
Dartmouth Wedding Photographer.
I don’t know about you but I absolutely love this time of year. As a photographer I find it so photogenic as the light is fantastic, with early sunsets which bathe the landscape in a beautiful golden glow. Summer is a popular time for weddings so it’s always a novelty to get a winter wedding booking. I was especially excited about this one as it involved a candlelit ceremony at St Pedrox Church – ultimate winter wedding hygge! This beautiful old church, on the mouth of the River Dart, has been holding wedding ceremonies here since 1192.
It was lovely to meet Sarah & George after a few chats over the winter. Sarah arrived to the church in style, on a little fishing boat! After their ceremony, I was looking forward to the hike across the coastal headland. This was fab for photos 🙂 Their venue, Little Dartmouth, was the perfect setting for a winter wedding – stylish & chic yet cosy with woodburners to keep everyone warm!
Thanks to Sarah for this lovely review – “Absolutely fantastic photos from our wedding. Emma completely got the vibe of our wedding, getting all the important family shots as well as some really beautiful ones of the venue and scenery. Emma got stuck in- even joining us for a coastal walk to get between the church and venue. All the photos were sent over via a really nicely laid out website and we have been so enjoying looking at them all. Thank you Emma!”
Happy anniversary to Sarah & George, who have just celebrated one year. It was fab to be a part of such a stunning winter wedding day.
