Devon Wedding Photography 2017

Happy New Year everyone and Hello 2018!! The past year has been fantastic with a real burst of creativity and lots magical memories… including Glastonbury Festival & treehouse handfastings and weddings at River Cottage, Dartington Hall & the gorgeous South Devon coastline. It’s been fab to explore some of Devon’s finest locations with my lovely B&G’s and I was super excited to be included as a top 50 alternative wedding supplier in GoHen!

There are some really stunning weddings in this selection – festival weddings of course, and plenty of muddy country shenanigans, plus a whole heap of heartfelt touches and rustic chic. I’m always amazed at what people come up with! A personal fave was Carina & Sven’s vinyl table plan, featured David Bowie, The Rolling Stones & Fleetwood Mac 🙂 You’ll also notice a some animal friends in this selection – horses, pigs and even owls. I had such an adventure with these featured friends, hiking across Dartmoor to the mysterious Wistmans Wood…

Aside from all of your fab weddings I also shot 5 styled shoots, including the epic owl adventure. These creative projects have been heaps of fun and I’ve met and worked with some really great wedding suppliers in Devon, Cornwall & Somerset. I loved having the chance to celebrate 50 years since the ‘Summer of Love ’67’ with a photoshoot at Huntstile Organic Farm, a venue that I’ve always wanted to work at. It was seriously groovy! We also travelled back in time at The Kingston Estate, revisiting the glamour of the 1920’s. For both these vintage shoots I worked with lovely Linda at Days of Grace who has an AMAZING selection of dresses! Most recently, I explored a Celtic theme for a very Poldark-esq shoot down in Cornwall – check out Wed Magazine in a few weeks for more. Thankyou to everyone for all your hard work. There are some really exciting features pending in 2018 so do keep a look out!

I’m so looking forward to this summer now and sharing more joyful moments with you all… Roll on 2018, it’s going to be a good ‘un!
