Beach Handfasting Photography of Verity & Martin’s vintage inspired wedding at Holkham Beach in Norfolk. A barefoot bride on a beach wearing a vintage-esque Jenny Packham gown… literature inspired table settings, an old gramophone… what’s not to love about this wedding?! I absolutely adored photographing Verity & Martin’s beach handfasting back in 2014. These guys were so lovely to hang out with and such a gorgeous couple. Their ceremony was a vow renewal – taken 10 years and 3 children after their legal wedding on the 20th September 2004.

“Only our parents attended the ceremony at Brighton registry office. We had just had a baby so there wasn’t the time or the inclination to organise a big wedding celebration. We kept saying we would have a party with all our family and friends but we were always so busy with work and children (we now have three) it never seemed like the right time. Our ten year anniversary felt like the right time to have a big party and renew our vows at the same time. We chose to have a humanistic blessing on the beach at Holkham. We kept the ceremony for immediate family and then followed it with lunch at The Victoria for extended family and friends with more friends attending in the evening”
