Vintage Memorial Hall Wedding
This has to be the most quintessentially English country wedding I have ever photographed! Jenny and George went for a vintage memorial hall wedding with so many gorgeous touches. The village they chose – Buckland in Oxfordshire – is a picture postcard of thatched cottages and cobbled stonework with a beautiful old church in the centre. They decorated the nearby Memorial Hall with amazing vintage details – WW2 posters, copies of the old fashioned ‘motor’ magazine, granny tableware and pretty flowery table cloths with jars and flowers. George has a passion for biking so the table theme was based on classic motorbikes. Outside entertainments included a coconut shy and other typical country-fete fun and games… unfortunately the weather was also typically British so guests mainly stayed inside, sheltering from the rain!
Congratulations J&G – your wedding was truly unique and you chose the most quaint village ever! It was great fun to visit and share your day with you 🙂
