There’s something magical about the landscape in Somerset. I’ve always felt a special connection to the place and, in particular, Glastonbury. Whilst I was studying my BA in Photography I landed here and discovered a quirky alternative community. I’ve lived there a couple of times since then and it’s always been a second home to me. I used to love watching the mists at dawn as the sun came up over Glastonbury Tor. I had a perfect view from my bedroom window up on Wearyall Hill. Magic. Check out this project that I did on Glastonbury Festival ‘My Glastonbury Story‘ which ended up on the BBC and at the V&A.

I’m always super-excited to have a wedding booking in Glastonbury. Over the years I have worked regularly at Splotts Moor Farm. This is a lovely wedding venue, very homely and welcoming with a variety of spaces that you can put your own stamp on. The hosts, Hilary and Gordon are the nicest people ever! I’ve been so lucky to work here regularly and get to know the family. I highly recommend having your wedding here 🙂

Laura & Louis are such a fab couple and I felt an instant connection with them when we chatted. I knew that their wedding day at Splotts Moor Farm would be very special and I wasn’t disappointed. I love outdoor wedding ceremonies and it was fab to see Laura walk up the ‘aisle’ with the tor behind her! That was a real highlight. Their decor was amazing, colourful and boho. I particularly loved the tipi in the centre of their ceremony space. I always think it’s fab when a couple brave less than perfect weather for a magical outdoor ceremony. The drizzle gave it extra Glastonbury authenticity 🙂 After food, outdoor games continued into the evening. These included tug of war, welly wagging and a good old-fashioned ceilidh. It was a joy to be there and share the day with Laura & Louis in this wonderful venue.
