Wedding at Ridge Farm Studios

This lovely couple, Claire and Mike, held their wedding at Ridge Farm Studios in Dorking on the 29th August 2015. What an amazing venue! The studios here were used by the likes of Queen and Oasis to record iconic albums, many of which line the hallways of the main building. Hanging out in the 16th Century farmhouse, sprawling lawns and pool house you certainly start to feel like a rockstar! Claire and Mike are friends of mine so the wedding was a very sociable day with lots of familiar faces… In fact, you could say the theme was ‘friends.’ They chose Beatles songs as their wedding hymns and ‘A little Help From My Friends’ was the main track of the day. Despite the rain much fun was had and my brother (a wedding guest) has since told me it was the best wedding he has ever been to! Claire and Mike’s friends even braved the wet weather and camped the night for an extended wedding celebration… luckily it brightened up the next day so the pool house got some use 😉 The newlyweds didn’t stick around for long though before boarding a flight to Bali for a tropical and sunkissed honeymoon… Congratulations guys, you rock!!!

Another photographer – Luke Santilli – also joined me for the day as a second shooter. He did a great job and some of his pictures are also featured in this post 🙂
