Jenny & Gavin were married at Splotts Moor Farm in Glastonbury on the 4th August 2018.
In keeping with tradition, the couple opted for a church ceremony at nearby Pilton Church, where Jenny’s parents and grandparents had also been married. Everyone then headed back to Splottsmoor to enjoy canapes amongst the apple trees in true Somerset style. In the neighbouring field, the marquee had been set-up for the wedding breakfast. The decor was colourful, with a travel-inspired theme to it. This matched the bold & bright flowers and wedding attire. Jenny’s bridesmaids wore red and the groomsmen wore bold orange ties. Luckily for them, it was a sunny day so they got to wear orange matching sunglasses too!
There is something so quintessentially English about this cute country wedding – the rolling green hills, the village church, the rustic farmhouse, all infused with a mad splash of colour! That’s what I love about Splottsmoor, it’s unassuming but it definitely has an eccentric side. The true spirit of Glastonbury. This venue really allowed the couple to put their own stamp on their wedding day, whilst adhering to more traditional elements.
