Sammy & Joe were married at Blackpool Sands Beach – a stunning Devon beauty spot – during the pandemic on the 2nd September 2020. Sammy works for the NHS and was gifted her wedding dress by Pronovias which came with a lovely gift card reading “Thankyou for all you have done in the fight against the global pandemic… we hope this dress fulfills the dreams you had to put on hold when you chose to put others first. Thanks to you love will conquer all.”
Due to restrictions at the time, Sammy & Joe had an intimate, socially distanced wedding. Their wedding ceremony was held inside the Venus Cafe, with beautiful views looking out onto the beach. For their reception the couple held a group yoga session on the beach. The couple enjoy a healthy, vegan lifestyle so they wanted this reflected in their celebrations. The yoga was a brilliant idea for a socially distanced fun activity which was fab for photos too! Hats off to Sammy for managing to do the session in her wedding dress!!
Despite the rainy weather and covid-19 restrictions, this was one hell of a gorgeous beach wedding. It was also a well needed get together at the time for the couple and their families.
